The Mediterranean sea is very special. The countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea, keep a very special treasure: the Mediterranean diet.

The Mediterranean diet is a set of practices, knowledge and skills passed from generation to generation and it provides a sense of belonging and continuity to the affected communities. The Mediterranean diet is characterized by the consumption of olive oil, cereals, fruits and vegetables and a moderate amount of fish, dairy products and meat.
